MY MUST HAVE ITEMS

FOR TRAVELLING

MALIN + GOETZ LIP MOISTURIZER

Hands down the best product I have ever used. Not only does it keep your lips moisturized for a solid 12 hour- yes seriously!- it also doubles as a spot treatment if you have any little rough spots or fly away hairs. It's the one product I swear by- and I have tried MANY lip balms in my time! It feels slightly tacky but is so nourishing and literally transforms your lips overnight. This small tube lasts me a whole year- you need a very small amount. I normally get mine from the States, but you can buy this from Mecca for around $18.

MINI TOOTHPASTE / TOOTHBRUSH / DENTAL FLOSS

For obvious reasons. I am a teeth hygiene freak after a not-so-successful dental visit last year. I can't believe I used to chomp down on minties throughout the flight not even thinking of the damage I was doing- it makes me cringe! My dentist actually told me people confess it's the one time people generally forget to look after their teeth when they are travelling on long haul flights- so I wasn't the only one!

LISTERMINTS

Once again, pretty obvious. These give you a powerful punch for the size and always make me feel lovely and fresh when I don't always look so lovely and fresh!

CLEAN MINI PERFUME

Possibly the nicest smelling perfume in the world. I could drown myself in this warm cotton fragrance. As the name suggest, its smells like clean laundry. This mini bottle is so handy due to the liquid restrictions.

MINTEC / ANTI GAS TABLETS

Too much info? Being on a plane causes serious havoc on my stomach and this is literally the only way to calm it down. Pop two of these babies and your problem of stomach cramps resolve within 20 minutes. Really handy on descent when your stomach is at its worst (or so the air hosties tell me).

WET ONES ANTIBACTERIAL WIPES.

These are $2 a pack and something this germ freak can't live without! I constantly use them on the go and rarely get sick these days. The original ones also smell SO good. Planes are dirty and full of so many little germs, this minimizes picking up any bugs floating around on dirty hands.

HYDRALYTE

I drink these throughout long haul flights and end up feeling pretty good considering I've been travelling for 14+ hours. Half of my problem with jetlag is caused by dehydration so these definitely ease the pain. I have tried not using them and there is a noticeable difference in how I arrive!

HARNEY & SON CINNAMON SUNSET TEA

The most beautiful way to finish a meal and sip on throughout a movie. This tea is packed full of warming cinnamon and spices (great for a cold plane). A friend got me hooked on this tea a couple of years ago and I always bring a few in a ziplock bag for the plane.
