A small and pretty property set in a side street of Legian (behind the Jayakarta hotel). Great location close to shops, restaurants and bars. There is a small restaurant, tour desk and lobby area at front of hotel. Very pretty pool area with a massage hut (AMAZING massages for $5 AUD for 45 mins). Immaculate grounds.
VERY basic- but when you are paying $80 AUD a night for two people including breakfast, we totally expect this. We stay in the top level room (master suite) with a large balcony and double bed. The bathroom is half outside and has very limited (luke) warm water from the hand held shower head. It is very clean, but basic. Television, air conditioning and WIFI all work well.
Delicious and cheap. We never had a bad meal here the whole time we stayed. Indonesian food ranges from $4- $6 AUD (bakmi goreng and satay highly recommended). Buffet breakfast was included in the rate and they have eggs to order. Fresh fruit, Indonesian dishes and toast.
Always friendly and courteous. Spoke excellent English and always went out of their way to help when possible. The massage ladies are so lovely and work hard for their money- they give the most amazing massages we have ever experienced. Highly recommend you try one!
I would recommend this hotel to people on a budget, who are not fussy travellers. You will see a bug or two, have trouble with the toilet and never be able to have a truly hot shower. In saying that, its a very pretty and clean hotel which offers good value for the location.
